Job summary

Storable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Marine division to build and modernize web apps used by marina operators and customers. You’ll work across the stack with React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, and AI-assisted workflows to deliver reliable software.

You’ll apply strong engineering fundamentals, review AI-generated outputs for correctness and security, mentor peers, and collaborate across product and infrastructure teams in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of practical software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP, MySQL.
• Proven track record shipping software in production environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow.
• Ability to review AI outputs for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features across frontend, backend, and integrations.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with infra and platform teams on CI/CD, AWS, deployment, monitoring.
• Refactor to reduce technical debt and improve architecture.
• Troubleshoot bugs and customer issues with speed and quality.
• Mentor engineers on traditional practices and AI-enabled workflows.
• Participate in design discussions and document technical designs.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Evaluate new tools and workflows to boost productivity.
