Job summary

TRM Labs in the United States is seeking a senior software engineer with strong product sense to join our Intel team. You will stay deeply technical while shaping what gets built, collaborating with analysts to design AI-powered tools and scalable back-end systems.

You will embed with analysts, design end-to-end AI applications, and ship durable solutions that move the needle. Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with Postgres/pgvector, Pinecone, Redis, and APIs is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable web applications, services and APIs.
• Hands-on with AI tools and AI-enabled workflows.
• Strong product sense with ownership and initiative.
• Ability to work with semi-technical analysts and explain trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Embed with intel analysts to translate goals into technical solutions with clear success criteria.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities to improve intelligence collection and productize work.
• Design, build, and own AI-powered internal applications end-to-end.
• Develop agentic solutions using models like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini.
• Own projects end-to-end: design, architecture, delivery, and ongoing support.
• Build reliable, scalable systems analysts depend on daily.
• Iterate based on real outcomes for the Intel team.
