Job summary

TRM Labs is hiring for a Full-Stack Engineer on the Full-Stack Product Engineering team based in our San Francisco office. You will design backend APIs, build scalable web applications, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enable mission-critical investigations and disrupt crime.

You’ll join an early team member focused on velocity, quality, and impact, with on-site presence required at least three days a week. Prior Node.js experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
• Understanding of storage systems, relational databases (Postgres) and analytical databases.
• Ability to translate customer pain points into technical and product requirements.
• High initiative and ownership, ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain public APIs that are part of the API Product suite.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform vision into a tangible roadmap with clear outcomes.
• Support internal business units through shared engineering services and functionalities.
• Develop cross-functional relationships to understand and empower mission end-to-end.
