Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI-Driven Engineering) to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, security teams, and platform engineers to move features from concept to production.

You will own end-to-end delivery across backend, data platforms, APIs, and UI, while applying AI-powered tools to boost productivity and ensuring quality, security, and performance. This is a remote role within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Strong experience building full-stack applications using Python, Vue.js, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience using AI-powered engineering tools and workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of secure software development, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native applications, translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features across backend services, data platforms, APIs, and user interfaces while making pragmatic technology decisions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle to improve engineering productivity while maintaining accountability for quality, security, and performance.
