Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett seeks an AI Platform Manager to own enterprise GenAI platforms, shaping product strategy and roadmaps. You will coordinate governance, risk, and vendor relations while guiding adoption and ROI across legal teams.

You will collaborate with IT, Information Security, Knowledge Management and the General Counsel office to deploy secure, compliant AI workflows, translating business needs into scalable solutions and practical product priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business, computer science, information systems, data science, engineering, finance or related field.
• Certifications in product management, product ownership, artificial intelligence, project management (PMP), change management, information security or related disciplines are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary product owner and business lead for assigned enterprise AI platforms, responsible for strategy and roadmap.
• Maintain deep subject matter expertise in platforms, configurations, integrations, workflows and best practices.
• Establish and lead a structured release-management process for evaluating and deploying capabilities.
• Partner with IT, Info Security, IG, OGC, and other stakeholders to evaluate risk, security and compliance.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships, including roadmap discussions, reviews and renewals.
• Coordinate with project managers, data scientists and engineers to translate concepts into scalable solutions.
• Establish feedback mechanisms with lawyers and business users to identify enhancements.
• Promote consistent product management practices and adoption approaches across the Firm’s AI ecosystem.
• Drive AI enablement and adoption strategies through communications, onboarding and training.
