Job summary

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Information Technology team. You’ll help shape KR’s application portfolio by delivering high quality features, modernizing legacy services, and standardizing tools.

You’ll work across WES (API/UI), Hermes, and Workstreams, collaborating with KR’s global delivery team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production software development experience, with strong Python (FastAPI), TS/React, Rust, and familiarity with Azure,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software development experience.
• Strong Python: FastAPI, async patterns, pytest.
• Strong TypeScript/React: component design, React Query.
• Proficient in Rust and related ecosystems (axum/tonic).
• Experience with cloud and event-driven architectures (Azure services, Kafka).
• Knowledge of identity systems (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT).

Responsibilities

• Build features across WES API/UI, Hermes, and Workstreams.
• Reduce technical debt and drive modernization.
• Collaborate with Bengaluru delivery team and cross-regional ceremonies.
• Produce developer-facing documentation.
• Mentor less-experienced developers.
