Job summary

Donnelley Financial Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Venue Engineering team. The role centers on building a modern SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure with scalable, cloud-native architecture and AI-enabled engineering practices.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, QA, SRE, and support; own design, development, and operations of enterprise-grade software, with emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, NET/ASP.NET Core, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and React.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering and building cloud-native apps on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Lead design discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Develop cloud-native services, modern APIs, UIs, integrations, and background processing systems.
• Create reusable frameworks, components, and accelerators.
• Meet functional and non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ensure design precedes implementation through specs, data flow reviews, and design reviews.
• Deliver software through the entire SDLC with secure, observable, and supportable code.
• Create technical designs, mitigate risks, and maintain automated tests with QA teams.
• Apply AI-enabled workflows; use approved AI tools responsibly to accelerate engineering tasks.
• Own production systems, monitor reliability, and participate in incident response.
