Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Foster City, CA, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect and scale our Agentic Deal Desk product. You will build resilient, high-throughput Java microservices alongside the AI agent harness—the runtime scaffolding, execution loop, tool dispatch system, and state management engine that converts non-deterministic LLMs into reliable, enterprise-grade deal-desk agents.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Java (17+), JVM internals, concurrency models, Spring Boot, and cloud-native distributed architecture.
• Deep experience building infrastructure around LLMs—agent loops, state-machine tracking, tool calling/dispatch systems, context management.
• Practical experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or in-house runtimes and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the core agent harness layer with execution loop and state persistence.
• Design safe tool-execution runtimes and schema-validated dispatchers for secure operations.
• Engineer context management including memory retrieval pipelines to avoid context degradation.
• Develop guardrails, evaluators, and verification checks to enforce margins and compliance.
• Design low-latency, event-driven Java microservices interfacing with Billing and CRM platforms.
• Set technical standards and mentor engineers across squads.
