BI Incorporated in Boulder, Colorado seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain complex software systems within an Agile Scrum framework. You will lead and mentor peers, collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, and contribute to quality controls and performance improvements.

The role emphasizes strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, and cross-platform mobile skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years hands-on software development or relevant experience.
• 2+ years development experience in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and service-oriented development, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core; Angular, CSS, HTML5 and related web/mobile tech.
• Experience with Xamarin, iOS and Android development; familiarity with Visual Studio and Windows Server.
• Experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server and related reporting tools.
• Ability to work in multi-user, multi-tasking environments and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and document software systems with complex scope.
• Provide technical leadership within an Agile Scrum team.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other teams for solutions.
• Support production environment with operations teams as needed.
• Ensure quality controls and testing strategies are followed.
• Lead and mentor lower level software engineers and promote best practices.
• Continuously learn new technologies and apply modern development techniques.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
