Job summary

BI Incorporated, based in Boulder, CO, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop sophisticated software in an Agile Scrum environment. You will mentor peers, drive technical excellence and collaborate with architecture and operations teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Requirements include a CS degree or equivalent, 4+ years of software development, 2+ years in Agile settings, and strong C#/ASP.NET/Angular expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years hands-on software development or relevant experience.
• At least 2 years development experience in an Agile environment.
• Expert knowledge of standard development tools and practices.
• Strong analytical and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and documents software systems and interfaces based on requirements.
• Provides technical leadership throughout the Agile development process.
• Leads collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and System Administration as needed.
• Ensures quality controls to mitigate defects and supports testing strategies.
• Mentors software engineers in best practices and design patterns.
• Participates in Scrum ceremonies and advocates Agile principles.
