Job summary

Overjet, the world-leader in dental AI, seeks a founding engineer to architect and build its Agentic AI platform from the ground up. You will report to the Head of Engineering and own end-to-end implementation of agentic systems in enterprise environments.

This role is for zero-to-one work, with ownership of technical direction, collaboration with ML scientists and product managers, and mentoring senior engineers as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-8 years of experience building and shipping production software systems
• Hands-on experience with building agentic AI systems or autonomous workflows in production
• Proven experience leading or owning 0→1 platform or product initiatives
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building backend or platform systems
• Experience deploying AI systems in enterprise environments with reliability and observability in mind, specifically in GCP
• Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and agent orchestration tools - langchain, langraph, deepagents, Vercel eve
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high-ownership mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment

The Mission and the Hard Part

This role is critical to Overjet’s next phase of product development. As a key member of the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for architecting and building Overjet’s Agentic AI platform from the ground up, reporting to our Head of Engineering.
