Job summary

Zyphra Technologies Inc. in San Francisco seeks a Software Developer (Member of Technical Staff) to build agentic systems and autonomous tasks across desktop, browser, and SaaS environments.

You will design architectures interacting with browsers, OS, and enterprise file systems, and craft backend services for context management. You will engineer pipelines, integrate LLMs and vision models, and work on scalable distributed systems using Python and C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Experience leading backend systems design and full-stack development with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, and building distributed services with API integration.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to agentic systems and autonomous web/OS tasks.
• Design architectures for browser and OS interaction and enterprise file systems.
• Build backend and information context management for agents.
• Develop search and retrieval pipelines over large data.
• Integrate LLMs, vision models, and scaffolding for multi-step decisions.
• Work with SaaS environments, production workloads, web interfaces, databases, queues.
