Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design and build end-to-end systems for AWS AAIS.

You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with scientists to turn new science into scalable capabilities for modern contact centers in the cloud. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end systems and scale them.
• Lead architecture decisions and drive engineering excellence across the team.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with scientists to translate research into production capabilities.
