Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA is hiring for a role within the AWS Transform team to design and build agentic AI systems that modernize applications for cost savings, security, and scalability.

The candidate will lead architecture across teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, Science, and customers to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-moving environment within a large company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large-scale systems.
• 1+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex distributed systems with latency and reliability requirements.
• Architect scalable agent infrastructure with orchestration, state management, and tool integration.
• Drive technical alignment across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Science, and customers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Develop team members' technical capabilities through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain focus on customer experience in all technical decisions.
