Job summary

Mastercard Foundry R&D seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance Agentic AI engineering. You will build tooling, services, and patterns enabling teams to experiment, validate, and scale AI-enabled solutions across Mastercard.

Deep engineering fundamentals, product mindset, and practical AI trade-off awareness are essential. You will work on AI-enabled applications, orchestration patterns, and reusable components, collaborating with product, engineering, and business partners to ship impactful

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying Generative AI and agentic patterns to real products.
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and SDKs for agent orchestration and development.
• Strong understanding of AI system design trade-offs and backend engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build software and tooling supporting Mastercard's Agentic AI strategy.
• Design AI-enabled applications, workflows, and developer-facing capabilities.
• Develop reusable services and integrations for AI systems.
• Evaluate models and tools for quality, cost, latency, and reliability.
• Partner with peers to turn ideas into working solutions.
• Improve developer experience with automation and platform thinking.
• Share learnings and best practices across the org.
