Job summary

Helios Intelligence Platforms is hiring a Staff/Senior Software Engineer to advance Proxi’s agent runtime and its long-running, multi-agent workflows. You will build tool and action infrastructures, connect reasoning with evidence, and help ensure secure, scalable deployments in a government-aligned context.

You will work with the CTO and founding team in our New York City office, reporting in and contributing across research, engineering, and operations to ship production-grade agent systems.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production LLM or agent systems beyond prototypes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data flow.
• Ability to diagnose nondeterministic failures and enforce boundaries.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Own Proxi’s agent runtime and related execution state.
• Design and implement tool/action frameworks for agents.
• Connect reasoning/memory with knowledge sources and evidence.
• Improve evaluation, tracing, and deployment discipline for agent behavior.
• Collaborate with CTO and founding team to advance the platform.
