Job summary

Helios Intelligence Platforms in New York City seeks a Staff/Senior Software Engineer to build and operate large-scale document-intelligence and data-infrastructure systems. You will guide ingestion, normalization, extraction, enrichment, and publication across languages and jurisdictions, expanding Proxi’s capabilities for global sources.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with experience building and operating large-scale acquisition or document-processing systems in production.
• Experience expanding data pipelines for multilingual sources and varied jurisdictions.
• Ability to design stable data contracts, provenance, and reproducible reprocessing.

Responsibilities

• Expand Proxi ingestion and document-processing platform from source acquisition through publication.
• Build crawling/connector infrastructure to discover and maintain international data sources.
• Scale distributed processing for document conversion, extraction, transcription, enrichment, and backfills.
• Establish data contracts to normalize diverse multilingual sources while preserving provenance.
• Maintain pipeline reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency with correct propagation across systems.
• Develop real-time audio intelligence pipelines for multilingual transcription and speaker attribution.
