Amazon Advertising is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to work on the Forecasting Platform for Demand Side with large-scale data processing and ML approaches. The role involves owning data pipelines, building end-to-end analytics and optimization tools, and mentoring engineers across a platform using Java, C++, and Python.

Formación

• 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 8+ years of programming in at least one software language.
• 4+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsabilidades

• Own backend data pipelines, indexing systems and service & API layer application support.
• Work with engineers to build systems and models handling petabytes of data.
• Develop models to analyze supply and demand and optimize methods.
• Investigate new technologies and champion adoption within the team.
• Work on a platform spanning Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Pig, Redshift, S3 with Java, C++, Python.
• Mentor junior team members and help set vision for Amazon goals.
