Job summary

Amazon Ads Demand Tech is seeking a Software Development Engineer to advance forecasting and guidance for self-service advertisers. You will design scalable APIs, build Agentic LLM apps, and translate models into production-ready systems.

You will collaborate across data science, product, and UI/UX teams to deliver intuitive interfaces and measurable revenue growth at scale. This role offers mentorship and opportunities to lead technical initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices for real-time forecasting and recommendations
• Build Agentic LLM applications that visualize data and deliver intuitive user experiences
• Collaborate with scientists to translate statistical models and algorithms into production-ready systems
• Develop efficient data pipelines and storage solutions to process large-scale advertising campaign data
• Drive system performance improvements and operational excellence through monitoring, optimization, and best practices
