Job summary

Amazon is seeking a software engineer to drive forecasting and recommendations at scale within the Forecasting Insights and Guidance team. You will design, build, and ship real-time APIs, LLM-based visualization tools, and data pipelines, partnering with scientists and product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices for real-time forecasting and recommendations.
• Build Agentic LLM applications that visualize data and deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate with scientists to translate statistical models and algorithms into production‑ready systems.
• Develop efficient data pipelines and storage solutions to process large‑scale advertising campaign data.
• Drive system performance improvements and operational excellence through monitoring, optimization, and best practices.
