Job summary

Akina Inc. seeks a Software Engineer 3 with Python, Bash and IDA Pro expertise in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role requires TS/SCI - Polygraph clearance and involves leading design and integration testing of software systems, and supporting system administrators with software installation.

Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of software engineering practices, strong problem solving, and experience in reverse engineering and malware analysis. Salary range is $225k–$275k per year.

Qualifications

• Formal training on SEI CMMI-DEV model or experience applying it
• Formal training on DoD standards for software testing and documentation or experience applying these standards

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, writes, tests software individually or in a team
• Lead technical design of software systems and lead integration testing
• Supports System Administrators with installation of software applications
• Participates in testing process through reviews, witnessing and certification
• Reviews and translates system requirements into software requirements
