Job summary

Akina Inc. in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, seeks a Software Engineer 3 with deep C++, Linux, and Python expertise to develop advanced analytic software for high-security environments. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required along with substantial DSP experience.

Qualifications

Twelve (12) years' experience as a DSP Algorithm developer.
Twelve (12) years' experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language.
C++ work must be in the last 10 years.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.
Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
Review and test software components for design adherence and test results.
Debug existing software and correct defects.
Design, code, and modify software to add new features and improve performance.
Lead one or more software development teams as appropriate.
