Location: Remote (North America)

YOE: 6+ years as a Software Engineer in AI Powered Web-based Products

Base pay range

$170,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

About the role

• Own backend-heavy systems that power enterprise admins, builders, and org-wide controls.
• Design, build, and ship features across Python/Django, Node.js, and AWS in production.
• Work on event-driven architectures handling high‑volume, business‑critical traffic.
• Improve observability: notifications, alerts, audit logs, metrics, and logging pipelines.
• Partner with product, support, and customer teams to solve real enterprise problems fast.

Requirements

• 6+ years building web‑based products, including 2+ years operating as a Senior Engineer.
• Strong production experience with Python and Django, plus solid SQL (MySQL/Postgres).
• Deep backend experience across services, APIs, data models, and performance.
• Hands‑on exposure to event‑driven systems (Kafka, SQS, or similar) and observability tools.
• Clear communicator who can explain trade‑offs and the impact of past work on users/business.
