About the Team

The Remote & Automation provides critical capabilities for operations, development, and maintenance for Vizio Operating System and its Software Development Life Cycle. The Remote & Automation Lab is key for ensuring the quality and timely delivery of our products by providing a robust and efficient testing environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our Remote Lab team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing the core backend systems that power our innovative platform. You will be working closely with our front-end developers and other team members to deliver a seamless and high-performance user experience.

What You Will Do

• Design and implement the back-end Linux based TV Box app architecture and database.
• Develop the TV Box application backend using Python and the Django framework.
• Develop middle- and high-level Lab features such as authorization, web server, streaming server, camera control, IR commands, UART, SSH console, and task execution.
• Build and maintain health monitoring and statistics systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

About You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with the Django framework.
• Familiarity with FastAPI framework.
• Experience with web development technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, HTTPS, SSL, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
