We are looking for Senior Software Engineer professionals responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, while also maintaining legacy technologies and working in fast-paced environments. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and good communication skills both verbally and written. The candidate should be able to guide and mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and security standards.

What you'll do:

• Lead domain-driven projects in an Agile environment, collaborating regularly via Zoom on complex issues.
• Drive timely and quality delivery aligned with business goals, promoting engineering excellence.
• Work independently in complex situations with guidance.
• Demonstrate leadership through teaching, mentoring, and collaboration.
• Identify process improvements and provide technical direction.
• Stay current with technological advancements and develop new concepts and techniques.
• Dissect and understand system components beyond your own code, including third-party integrations.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code following team standards.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high quality.
• Collaborate with business teams, product management, QA, architects, and cloud engineering to facilitate smooth deployment across AWS environments.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage projects considering overall success and programming decisions.

What you should have:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 8+ years of experience without a degree.
• 5+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Experience with large-scale systems and end-to-end design.
• Proficiency with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-motivation skills.
• Ability to document and monitor issues for timely resolution.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JBoss/Wildfly, troubleshooting in cloud environments (preferably AWS), and AWS certifications.
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, API Gateways, Lambda, NodeJS, and Next.js.
