We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is dynamic and excited about being part of a fast-moving and growing team. You will collaborate across the organization to execute the most important company priorities.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of complex, high-impact features while mentoring software engineers and driving architectural improvements. You will work across multiple systems to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability. This role requires deep technical knowledge and a proactive approach to solving challenging engineering problems.

Essential Functions

• Lead the end-to-end development of major features and platform components.
• Make architectural decisions and implement scalable, secure solutions.
• Guide and mentor Associate and Software Engineers.
• Identify and resolve technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD, observability, and system reliability.
• Participate in cross-functional technical discussions and architecture reviews.
• Support LLS' Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve processes, procedures, and services, increasing efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this role in the US Remote location is $140,000 - $150,000 USD. The actual offer will be specified in the candidate's offer letter.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
• Experience with web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Proficiency in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and system performance.
• Expertise in cloud-native development and security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Leadership in cross-functional initiatives.

Physical Demands and Requirements
