Job summary

Fusion Technology in Quantico, VA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Top Secret clearance to contribute to system-level design and development for mission-critical US government programs.

You will translate designs into robust software, test and debug, write documentation, and help optimize performance while supporting full software lifecycle and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; five years of related experience may supplement this requirement.
• Two or more years of technical software development experience in languages such as C, C#, or Java.
• Experience in multi-tenant software design and database design and implementation, preferably with SQL Server.

Who are you?

Security-cleared Professional: A Top Secret Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. An additional five years of related experience can supplement this education requirement. Two (2) or more years of technical experience as a software developer in addition to the following:

• Deriving design specifications for functional activities and have the ability to develop, troubleshoot, and test complex software to satisfy design objectives.
• Experience in multi-tenant software design and application; the use of object-oriented programming languages such as C, C#, and Java; and database design and implementation, preferably with SQL server.

Preferred Experience: REST service or web server experience in service/system interconnectivity in an enterprise environment.

The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to system level design in order to optimize overall system performance and reliability; translate design into computer software; test, debug, and refine computer software to produce the required product; prepare both program level and user-level documentation; enhance software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency; and provide full lifecycle support for software including user interaction.
