Base pay range

$48.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Advanced Software Engineer for a 6-month W2 contract position (possibility of extension) with a client in Phoenix, AZ. This position will be working onsite Monday to Friday between 8AM to 4PM. This role will design, develop, and implement software applications. This Senior Advance Software Engineer position will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle—from concept and design to testing, deployment, and support.

Rate Range: $48.00/hour to $55.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Procurement Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, modify, and implement software applications and systems.
• Install, configure, and support software applications and operating systems.
• Participate in all phases of testing, including test planning, execution, and certification.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and design within time and cost constraints.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
• Maintain documentation and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in software development or a related area.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development frameworks.
• Experience with software testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Creative problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
