Senior Software Engineer

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $200-250,000 + Bonus/Benefits

X4 Engineering is excited to partner with a prestigious asset management firm with over 20 years of expertise in the industry.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the design, testing, deployment, and ongoing development of their critical trade management system.

In this position, you’ll work with cutting-edge .NET technologies, focusing on distributed systems, designing & improving multithreaded - high-volume trade flow processing systems, whilst taking full ownership on all aspects of their trade management system.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience, particularly with C#.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, multi-threaded programming & object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with enterprise messaging systems
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies.
• DevOps Knowledge - JIRA, Git, Jenkins & Octopus Deploy.
• Familiarity with Agile software development concepts.
• Experience with behavior & test-driven development(TDD).
• Full Stack proficiency - Web & mobile frameworks such as React JS, Angular.
• FIX protocol knowledge, MS SQL experience.
• Familiarity with US & International Equity, Fixed Income & Commodity markets.

The role is mainly on-site in their New York office with at least 4 days' per week required.
