Job summary

Trust In SODA is seeking a seasoned full-stack engineer in New York City to own problems from discovery to deployment across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.

You will work in a small, collaborative team with ownership over product and engineering direction, shaping the platform as the company scales, in an office-based environment five days a week.

• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship customer-facing features across the full stack.
• Own features from customer problem through architecture, development, deployment, and production.

• Work alongside AI engineers to bring intelligent capabilities into production.
• Improve reliability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and observability across the platform.
• Investigate production issues and optimise system performance.
• Build shared services, internal tooling, and reusable engineering components.
• Work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems.

New York City | Office based | 5 days a week

We're partnering with a venture-backed AI startup that's building the trust infrastructure behind the next generation of enterprise software.

Their platform helps organisations operating in highly regulated environments automate complex workflows using AI while maintaining the reliability, security, and accuracy those industries demand. Following strong customer growth, they're looking for another experienced engineer to help build the next stage of the platform.

The role

This is a genuinely full-stack engineering position. You'll own problems from the moment they're identified through to deployment and production, working across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, integrations, infrastructure, and AI-powered workflows.

You'll spend as much time thinking about the customer experience as you will designing the systems behind the scenes. The team is small, collaborative, and moves quickly, so everyone has a high level of ownership and influence over both the product and the engineering direction.

Day to day

• Build and ship customer-facing features across the full stack
• Own features from customer problem through architecture, development, deployment, and production
• Design APIs, backend services, data models, and scalable application architecture

You’ll probably be a good fit if...

• You've spent 5+ years building and operating production software
• You're comfortable working across both frontend and backend development
• You've designed APIs, data models, backend services, and integrations for production applications
• You've owned features from customer problem through to production
• You're comfortable debugging across the application stack and enjoy solving complex technical problems
• You have experience working with cloud-native infrastructure
• You care about building software that's reliable, maintainable, and intuitive for customers
• You balance moving quickly with writing high-quality, scalable code
• You enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment
