Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role, with on-site collaboration and the flexibility to work remotely. You will contribute to the development of market-leading capital market products and work across distributed ledger technologies, NodeJS, and ReactJS.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in JavaScript, strong NodeJS/ReactJS proficiency, and experience with databases and Docker.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of JavaScript experience with NodeJS and ReactJS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals (prototypes, callbacks).
• Experience with Node.js, ReactJS, NextJS and Express.
• Full-stack web development using NodeJS/ReactJS.
• Experience with JSON formatting.
• Experience with Docker.
• PostgreSQL or relational databases.
• Blockchain experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enable secure smart contracts by recording blockchain data securely.
• Develop software for Distributed Ledger Repo in NodeJS, DAML.
• Design secure blockchain technologies, develop features, web services, UI.
• Research, design, develop, support and test blockchain technologies.
• Utilize cryptography techniques to protect against cyber-attacks.
• Deploy the applications into different environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Enable secure smart contracts by creating systems to record and store blockchain data in a way that prevents changes or hacks.
• Develop high-quality software for Distributed Ledger Repo in NodeJS, DAML
• Design secure blockchain technologies, develop application features, web services, UI and interfaces.
• Research, design, develop, support and test blockchain technologies
• Utilizing cryptography techniques to protect against hackers and other cyber‑attacks
• Deploy the applications into different environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of experience in JavaScript with NodeJS, ReactJS etc.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript with a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals such as prototype inheritance, composition, call back functions etc.
• Experience with JS libraries and frameworks like Node.js, ReactJS, NextJS etc. and packages like express
• Full stack web development using NodeJS, ReactJS
• Experience with JSON message formatting
• Experience with docker
• Good understanding of process managers like pm2, forever etc.
• Experience with relational database like PostgreSQL
• Prior experience in blockchain technologies is preferred but not mandatory
