A leading materials recycling company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. In this full-time remote position, you'll own features end-to-end, designing and building production-ready software with a focus on AWS and API integrations. Strong written communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment are essential. You will have periodic travel to Nevada for stakeholder engagement. • Own features end-to‑end: design, build, test, deploy, and operate in production
• Write clean, tested Python and React code and participate in code reviews
• Design and build APIs and integrations between systems
• Work with domain experts and stakeholders to understand business processes and turn them into working software
• Contribute to technical design decisions
• Navigate a fast-moving environment where requirements change often and ambiguity is normal—prioritize effectively and adapt without waiting for perfect information
• Debug and resolve production issues; monitor and improve system reliability
• Collaborate remotely with team and stakeholders; periodic on‑site travel (~1 week/quarter) for planning and stakeholder engagement

• Experience building and shipping production applications on AWS
• API design and integration patterns
• Comfort working independently in a remote-first environment and making pragmatic technical decisions
• Strong written communication—you document decisions and communicate asynchronously effectively
