Parsons is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team in Manassas, VA. The role requires a current Secret clearance and a track record of delivering robust software across the full stack, including frontend and backend services.

You will work in a DevSecOps and agile environment, leveraging cloud, virtualization, and container technologies like Kubernetes to design, build, and deploy high-quality software products for government missions.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing robust software applications in line with program requirements
• Providing timely status and estimates to complete

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 10+ years of related professional experience
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, integrate, and deploy quality software products
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience with DevSecOps, agile methodologies, and tools
• Experience with cloud environments
• Experience with command and control systems
• Experience with virtualization / container technologies (i.e. kubernetes)
• Familiarization with front-end and backend service development
• Proficiency in software development using languages such as Python, GoLang, Bash, Node/Javascript
• Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment
• Strong background developing / debugging
• Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
