Job summary

ASRC Agile Decision Sciences in Huntsville, AL seeks Software Engineers to contribute to real-time defense systems in an Agile team. Eligible candidates will perform software development and testing in C++/Java, with embedded components and DevSecOps practices.

Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance, have a STEM degree and at least five years of related experience, and be able to work on-site in a closed-area environment; relocation opportunities may be considered.

• Experience with Linux OS.
• OO C++/Java development and embedded software experience.

ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are currently seeking Software Engineers to join our team based in Huntsville, AL. Candidates will work in an Agile team environment where they will actively engage in sprints and other Agile process activities as well as software development and testing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field, and 5 years of related experience
• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
• Linux Operating System Experience
• Object Oriented C++/Java/ Software Development experience
• Embedded software development experience
• Experience with CMake and Gtest
• Must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab)
• Experience using Agile Project management tools (Jira/Confluence)
• Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles
• Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and/or systems
• Knowledge of SysUML
• Security+ certification
