Vignet, Inc., d/b/a Vibrent Health, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, seeks a work-at-home Senior Software Engineer (with the ability to telecommute using appropriate systems). The role involves developing Vibrent Health’s digital health technology and research tools, primarily through Agile Software development methodologies.

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, and code reviews.
2. Supporting product owners and Scrum Master in managing the backlog.
3. Ensuring proper review of new code using best practices and review tools.
4. Facilitating adoption of new frameworks and technologies.
5. Evaluating and implementing open source and cloud-native tools.
6. Solving complex technical problems and initiating code refactoring or design changes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years supporting a mobile patient engagement platform for US clinical trials or medical research, with up to 2 million users.
2. Five (5) years of experience with:

• Application building using design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Viper).
• Mobile application development with Swift, Objective-C, SQLite, Java, JSON.
• Creating testable features using Mockito, JUnit, XCUI Test, Quick, or Nimble.
• Distributing applications via iOS App Store or Google Play.
• Developing and deploying HIPAA and SOC2 compliant Flutter, iOS, and Android applications.

Knowledge of:

• Standards like REST and OAUTH.
• iOS frameworks such as CoreBluetooth or HealthKit.
• Docker or Kubernetes pipelines.
• Mobile automation frameworks like Appium or Webdriver.
• Real device testing with SauceLab or AWS Device Farm.
