Job summary

Typeface in Bellevue is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to deliver features end-to-end, collaborating with product, design, marketing, and data science to design and build capabilities.

You will own core initiatives across the stack, ship high-quality software, and help shape scalable web applications and cloud services that power generative AI for enterprise customers. This is a hybrid role with in-office collaboration three days a week.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Claude or other AI tools.
• Proficient in JavaScript frameworks, Java or Python.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and pub/sub systems.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Full stack Engineer, you will be responsible for building features end-to-end. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, marketing, and data science to design and develop features.

What you Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with Claude or other AI tools
• Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: JavaScript frameworks, Java, Python.
• Demonstrated experience developing on a major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong Experience with database systems (relational or noSQL) and pub/sub systems (Kafka/AWS SNS/Azure EventHub)
• Experience developing bulk ingestion pipelines.
• Experience building data analytics services.
• Experience working at a high-growth startup or tech company.

Location

This is a hybrid role reporting to or Bellevue office. We collaborate in-office 3 days a week.

Salary

The range for this role is $160,000-$200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
