Typeface in Bellevue is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build features end-to-end, collaborating with product, design, marketing, and data science to shape scalable web apps and cloud services powered by generative AI.

You will own key initiatives, deliver high-quality code, and mentor teammates while adopting best practices for growth-stage environments at a hybrid Bellevue office three days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with Claude or other AI tools.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, Java, or Python.
• Experience on major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and pub/sub systems (Kafka, AWS SNS, Azure EventHub).
• Experience building data analytics services and bulk ingestion pipelines.
• Experience in high-growth startups or tech companies.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Full stack Engineer, you will be responsible for building features end-to-end. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, marketing, and data science to design and develop features.

We are looking for strong full stack engineers across multiple levels to join our team and help us build innovative web applications and cloud services that deliver the power of generative AI to our customers.

• Own the delivery of key product and technology initiatives across design, specification, development, testing and launch.
• Delivery high-quality software that can be easily read and leveraged by others
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, marketing and other engineers.
• Investigate, prototype, and deliver innovative solutions throughout the stack
• Define and drive adoption of best practices for building modern web applications and cloud services.

What you Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with Claude or other AI tools
• Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: JavaScript frameworks, Java, Python.
• Demonstrated experience developing on a major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong Experience with database systems (relational or noSQL) and pub/sub systems (Kafka/AWS SNS/Azure EventHub)
• Experience developing bulk ingestion pipelines.
• Experience building data analytics services.
• Experience working at a high-growth startup or tech company.

Location

This is a hybrid role reporting to or Bellevue office. We collaborate in-office 3 days a week.

Salary

The range for this role is $160,000-$200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
