Harris in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Senior Software Engineer to solve complex SQL Server data and performance challenges, with occasional C#/.NET and React work. You will own data problems, investigate independently, and drive work to completion in an Agile environment.

The Senior Software Engineer will solve complex data and performance challenges in Gridline’s SQL Server environment. This role is primarily focused on SQL Server, data warehousing, stored procedures, database performance, SQL jobs, and the data access layer. The successful candidate will also be able to follow data up the stack and occasionally make targeted changes in the C#/.NET and React applications that consume that data. This role requires someone who can take ownership of ambiguous data problems, investigate independently, ask focused questions when blocked, and drive work to completion without heavy day‑to‑day direction.

This is a full‑time position which will typically involve 40 hours a week Monday through Friday but are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
Two trips annually to the corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ of approximately 5 days each may be required along with quarterly 1-day events. Otherwise, little to no travel is expected for this position.

The potential salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 per year, with eligibility for bonus or merit program. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
