Que Technology Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Software Developer to own a Kubernetes-native application that orchestrates and deploys workloads within its host cluster. You will advance a platform uniting a modern web UI, containerized microservices, and cloud-native components.

The ideal candidate has strong Go, TypeScript, Python, and Kubernetes expertise and is comfortable with containerization, orchestration, and event-driven systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 20+ years of software development experience preferred.
• An additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may substitute the degree.
• Experience with hardware/software integration, infrastructure provisioning, Ansible configuration management, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, Rancher, and CaaS.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) for production services.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
• Hands-on Docker container experience with orchestration via RKE2 or similar.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and system design.
• Familiarity with SQL databases in containerized environments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Que Technology Group, Inc. , is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to take ownership of a Kubernetes-native application that orchestrates and deploys workloads within the cluster it runs in. This role advances a platform that brings together a modern web-based UI/UX, containerized microservices, and cloud-native components. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Go, TypeScript, Python, and Kubernetes, and is comfortable working with containerization, orchestration, and event-driven systems.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• - Own the design, development, and continued advancement of a Kubernetes-native application that orchestrates and deploys workloads within its host cluster
• - Develop and maintain production backend services in Go, along with supporting components in Python
• - Build and enhance web-based frontends using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• - Design and implement containerized microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven components
• - Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)
• - Support hardware and software integration, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management with Ansible
• - Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure operational excellence
• - Maintain and improve documentation while adhering to internal development standards

Required Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with at least twenty (20) years of software development experience, with a strong focus on backend and cloud-native applications.
• - An additional four (4) years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree.
• - Experience with hardware and software integration, infrastructure, provisioning, Ansible configuration management, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, Rancher, and Containers as a Service (CaaS).
• - Proficiency in Go (Golang), with practical experience developing production services.
• - Experience building frontends using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• - Solid experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD).
• - Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka.
• - Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker, and orchestration via RKE2 or similar.
• - Strong understanding of system design, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• - Familiarity with SQL databases and their integration in containerized environments.
• - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• - Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Bamboo, Fisheye).
• - Experience with Agile development.
• - Experience with Continuous Integration and CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
• - Linux or UNIX administration and maintenance experience.
• - Knowledge of SIGINT systems and dataflows.
• - Experience with Kafka, NiFi, MetalLB, and MinIO in production environments.
• - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation using cloud-init or Terraform.
• - Background in observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
• - Experience with the Rancher Suite (Harvester, Longhorn, KubeVirt).
• - Prior work with AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS) or other cloud platforms.
• - Ability to perform well in a team environment.

Security Clearance:

• - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
