Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Java developer to join a small, mission-focused team in Fort Meade, MD.

You will contribute to deployment pipelines, collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams, and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. You will implement deployment logic, handle secrets and config maps, and help standardize reusable templates, while adhering to team standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 7 years SWE experience.
• Additional 4 years of SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Familiar with Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, Docker, and REST.
• Strong Linux skills.
• Willing to work in customer spaces or in an offsite SCIF.

Que Technology Group, Inc., is looking for an experienced Java developer to fill an opening on a small, mission-focused team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute to the development of deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services
• Follow team standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Implement and test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, and config maps
• Support internal efforts to standardize and document reusable application deployment templates

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Familiar with Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, Docker, and REST
• Strong Linux skills
• Willing to work in customer spaces or in an offsite SCIF.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the ELK stack, MongoDB, Ansible, and Kubernetes is strongly desired.
• Any background developing front-end UI solutions in Angular/Typescript
• Willingness to work limited-scope UI tasks.
