Job summary

Axos Bank seeks an Assistant Vice President of Software Development to lead and hands-on design a portfolio of applications across the enterprise. You will work with IT leadership to define requirements, architect secure, high-performance systems, and drive CI and test quality.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of .NET experience, 4+ years in leadership, API development, and strong collaboration across stakeholders to deliver on the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years’ full-stack .NET development with interactive web apps and web services (REST/SOAP).
• 4+ years in technical lead or management roles.
• Hands-on API development and HTTP-based service communications.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect requirements across the enterprise portfolio.
• Design and prototype enterprise-wide solutions with focus on security, performance, CI and code quality.
• Communicate with other development managers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify and implement opportunities to continuously improve the Bank’s development capabilities.
• Refactor codebase for just-in-time design within contextual design.
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders across the organization.
