Position Overview

Under the leadership of the Deputy Chief Information Officer, the Senior Software Development Manager will drive innovation, modernization, and strategic transformation within the Court’s software engineering landscape. This role involves defining enterprise-wide architecture, adopting next-generation technologies, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions aligned with the Court’s mission and future digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Court’s long-term software architecture strategy.
  • Lead modernization initiatives using emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and public access.
  • Provide strategic technical leadership and facilitate high-level discussions with stakeholders.
  • Oversee enterprise software strategies, ensuring consistency and integration across divisions.
  • Mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Shape technology investment strategies and oversee digital transformation projects.
  • Ensure architectural standards, security compliance, and vendor management align with organizational goals.
  • Develop and communicate technology roadmaps, participate in architecture reviews, and manage budgets effectively.

Qualifications

  • Option I: 11+ years in IT systems design, development, or administration; with at least 2 years managing a major software function.
  • Option II: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, plus 7+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years in management.
  • Option III: Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desirable Skills and Experience
