Sonos is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Boston to design, develop, test, and maintain Bluetooth software powering our ecosystem. You will implement new Bluetooth features, improve reliability, and collaborate across Product, QA, Mobile, Platform, and Hardware teams throughout the lifecycle.

We value 3–5 years of experience, strong C/C++ skills, Linux/embedded systems experience, and familiarity with Bluetooth Classic/BLE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience developing software on Linux or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Bluetooth Classic and/or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Experience debugging complex software issues and working across hardware/software boundaries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.

Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of the range.
