Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior Software Developer - Web to shape the future of Uline.com. You will leverage full-stack skills to build and modernize a critical web platform used by thousands across North America, influencing architecture and delivering high-performance solutions at enterprise scale.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and collaborate with teams across Uline to continually improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including web/eCommerce using .NET, Java, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with observability tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch or Dynatrace; NiFi preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership and collaboration skills.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and modernize large-scale web applications, influencing architecture and technical direction for Uline.com.
• Contribute to project planning, architecture discussions and code reviews for complex initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Partner with teams across Uline to improve application performance and deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience.
• Mentor and coach developers, providing technical guidance and helping resolve engineering challenges.
• Explore and apply AI-powered solutions and emerging technologies, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI and vector search.
