Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior Software Developer to apply full-stack expertise across a business-critical web platform serving North America. You will influence architecture, lead technical decisions and deliver high-performing solutions at enterprise scale.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams and explore AI-powered approaches as part of ongoing modernization. This role is on-site at our Uline campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Kibana, Elasticsearch, Dynatrace) preferred.
• Strong problem solving, leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring developers and guiding architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and modernize large-scale web applications and influence architecture.
• Participate in planning, architecture discussions and code reviews from planning to delivery.
• Partner with teams to improve performance and customer experience.
• Mentor and coach developers, providing technical guidance.

• Design, develop and modernize large-scale web applications, influencing architecture and technical direction for Uline.com.
• Contribute to project planning, architecture discussions and code reviews for complex initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Partner with teams across Uline to improve application performance and deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience.
• Mentor and coach developers, providing technical guidance and helping resolve engineering challenges.
• Explore and apply AI-powered solutions and emerging technologies, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI and vector search, as part of ongoing modernization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch or Dynatrace, or data integration tools such as NiFi preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership and collaboration skills.
