Job summary

The Toro Company in Bloomington, MN seeks a Sr Software Developer to lead development of complex software applications, drive technical decisions, and align solutions with customer and business needs.

You will test, debug, document, and optimize across the SDLC, mentor teammates, and collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders. The position offers a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington headquarters with a market salary of $120k-$145k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and to work with developers on team-based projects.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Code, test, debug, document and implement complex software applications.
• Prepare program specifications and diagrams, and develop coding logic flowcharts.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 6+ years’ experience in software development
• Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
• Ability to provide technical leadership and to work with developers on team-based projects

• #LI-Hybrid Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. A reasonable salary estimate for this role would be $120k-$145k.
