The Sr Software Developer will design, code, test, and support new software and enhancements, mentoring less experienced developers and collaborating with clients and teams to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include leading design phases, delivering on functional and non‑functional requirements, and upholding the SDLC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 6+ years’ experience in software development.
• Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and to work with developers on team-based projects.

• Support, improve, and adhere to Toro software development process (SDLC), standards, and best practices.
• Solve complex technical problems and communicate solutions to system architects, peers and management.

The Sr Software Developer will design, code, test, support and debug new software and/or enhancements to existing software. Collaborate closely with other developers and contribute subject matter and technical expertise to develop specifications that will solve for business client needs, problems, and required or desired enhancements. Interact directly with business clients. Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Competitive Salary – The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. A reasonable salary estimate for this role would be $120k-$145k.
