Equilibrium Technologies in Herndon, VA seeks an Expert SME Software Developer & Systems Engineer to advance critical IC projects. You will design resilient software, prototype rapidly, and build secure APIs for enterprise data exchange while migrating toward EKS and exploring Bedrock AI integrations.

The role emphasizes collaboration in an Agile team, with senior-level responsibilities and opportunities for mentoring junior engineers. A TS/SCI clearance is required to start.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph is required prior to starting.
• Minimum 12 years of professional software programming experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on Python experience.
• Proven experience in Linux-based operating environments.
• Experience developing Node.js applications and secure, audited API endpoints.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and writing complex queries.
• Experience managing data with Elasticsearch for indexing and retrieval.

Responsabilidades

• Software Architecture & Development: design and build resilient full-stack components.
• Rapid Prototyping: create prototypes and demonstrate proofs-of-concept to stakeholders.
• API Engineering: develop secure, integrated API endpoints (Node.js/Python).
• Data Engineering & Search: optimize queries and restore fast data access with Elasticsearch.
• SI/AI & Cloud Modernization: support migration to EKS and explore AI integration like Bedrock.
• Agile Leadership: collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
