Job summary

The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Software Developer Sr. in Farmers Branch, TX.

You will participate in all aspects of the Automation and Platform Technology Group, building REST services, connecting to back-end web services via mutual authentication, and deploying to a cloud-based OpenShift platform. You will lead a team, design interfaces, and ensure secure enterprise integrations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years in software development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology plus software development experience in RPA using Agile methodology.
• Experience with Java and Python programming languages; Linux and Windows platforms.
• Experience with BOTs using Automation Anywhere and cybersecurity-focused software development.
• Familiarity with SDLC tools including IDEs, GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube and related automation tooling.
• Mentoring team members and code reviews; ability to work with QE and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST services using Onion/Message Queue/Orchestration architectures and WEB APIs
• Create connections with back-end third party web services using mutual authentication; build Docker images for cloud deployments
• Create APIs to call other REST services and Kafka REST services for E-Signature and Kafka services
• Provide solutions for new implementations within the architecture; design interfaces and test them
• Use Apigee for authentication and set up products for each BIAN domain
• Prepare Technical Design documents for interfaces
• Design WSDLs/XSDs/Message Sets; develop message flows and test interfaces
• Lead developers, train and knowledge-share; ensure secure connections to back-end servers
• Maintain code in SVN/GIT and manage deployments to UAT via Jenkins/Udeploy
• Collaborate with QE to test interfaces and resolve defects during testing cycles
