Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer - iOS/Android aligned with its Digital Security & Authentication team. The role is based in multiple U.S. cities including Pittsburgh, Denver, Strongsville, Birmingham or Dallas.

You will work across full stack development, mobile applications, and DevOps with emphasis on secure, scalable solutions. Responsibilities include designing and building Java backend services, REST APIs, and modern frontends, plus integrating with enterprise APIs and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience developing Java enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Build scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Develop responsive UIs using Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions.
